Super U Story is a Roblox story experience for girls between the ages of 9 and 16 who struggle with body image issues. As a new student at the Academy, discover your unique Gifts, learn to use them for good with the help of your Trainer, and fight off Marzanna, a bitter former student who’s determined to bully you and your friends into submission.

I wrote and designed this game for Roblox game studio Toya Play in conjunction with Dove and the Center for Appearance Research (CAR). My duties included:

• Pitching storylines and character bios

• Ensuring that Trainers showed diverse body types

• Designing and documenting puzzles/activities for each scene

• Giving feedback to Toya Play’s artists and level designers as we created the world of the Academy

• Incorporating feedback from CAR’s academic experts to ensure that the game taught research-supported lessons about body image
